Join Discover Photography in the Pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik one of the most photogenic coastal cities in the world.

Dubrovnik is the proudest feather in Croatia’s cap, an elite photographic destination which is steeped in stunning architecture and sculptural detail and boasts spectacular churches, monasteries, museums, and fountains.

During this 3 night photography workshop we will photograph all the famous landmarks of Dubrovnik which will include the well preserved medieval wall with outstanding renaissance and Baroque monuments, the magnificent fortifications and monumental gates leading to the Rector’s Palace, Fort Bokar, St. Lawrence Fortress & Dubrovnik Harbour.

We will have plenty of time with sunrise, sunset and the blue hour to really explore this diverse city with our cameras. We will seek out interesting nooks and crannies as well as the better-known and more iconic sites around the city and really concentrate on looking upwards as well as at eye level. Our aims will be to give you ample opportunity to really capture the history of this amazing city with its architectural opportunities and help you get to grips with urban photography.

As well as having extended and flexible time in Dubrovnik, where we will work one-on-one with each guest to hone your Urban photography skills, we will also provide demonstrations of advanced cityscape photography techniques, such as High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDRI) and night photography.

We also encourage participants to bring a selection of their work for a review and critique, our professional tutor will discuss the art of urban photography composition, how to use the camera to create wow-factor images and how to approach photography with the eye of a pro.

Hotel Dubrovnik is a peaceful four star beach-front property on the Lapad Peninsula. Surrounded by fragrant pine trees, it boasts magnificent panoramic sea views. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and free Wi-Fi. The modern, private bathrooms are all equipped with bathrobes, slippers and toiletries. Guests can enjoy stunning sun sets on the restaurants’ beautiful terraces. They are only a few meters away from the sea and offer Mediterranean dishes and Dalmatian wines. A rich breakfast buffet is served at the Restaurant Mediteraneo. All rooms provide are double rooms with single occupancy with no single supplement.
