The Italian Dolomites are one of the most breathtaking and photogenic mountain ranges on the planet. Join Discover Photography for a week capturing the splendour of this incredible region with a masterclass in landscape photography.

The Italian Dolomites or the Pale Mountains as they are famously known due to their pale colour is listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site and boast twenty peaks soaring above 3000 meters.

During the week of this two centre photography workshop in the Dolomites we will capture the incredible variety of the Italian Dolomite landscapes, lush valleys and towering jagged peaks that offer breathtaking opportunities at every turn.

Days 1-4

We will be based in Seiser Alm,  the iconic Dolomite plateau and the largest high-altitude Alpine meadow in Europe. We will walk out of the hotel each morning and walk around the rolling meadows with wooden cabins to photograph the sunrise.  The Langkofel and Schlern massif the symbol of South Tyrol is our backdrop for spectacular mountain scenery. During the afternoons we will head out of the valley to photograph quint churches, meadows and towering peaks of the Seceda valley.

Days 4-7

We will be based in the eastern part of the Dolomites, Cortina to concentrate on the mountain pass of Gardena & Giau. We will also cover the mountain lakes of the Dolomites, Lago Federa, Lago di Braies, & Lago Misurina.  The trip will culminate with a sunrise & sunset sessions in the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the three distinctive battlement-like peaks in the Sexten Dolomites, probably one of the best-known mountain groups in the Alps.

All levels are catered for so whether you are new to photography, an enthusiast or a seasoned pro we provide a fun packed tour.

Our Tutored workshop will provide on location dedicated one-to-one tuition to help hone your landscape photography skills. Our professional tutor will offer guidance on both the technical and creative aspects of landscape photography and always be at hand to provide feedback on your photographs. At each location we visit our tutor will make suggestions and offer advice on how to create wow factor images.
