Tutor
Nick Fitzhardinge, a professional photographer of Australian-Canadian descent, I’ve established my home base in Canmore, nestled within the Canadian Rockies.
My formative years were spent in Tasmania, where I was steeped in the world of art and surrounded by the wonders of nature. My mother’s landscape artistry instilled in me a deep appreciation for the beauty of our natural surroundings. Weekends and holidays were often dedicated to exploring the diverse landscapes of Tasmania, be it the mountains, lakes, waterfalls, forests, or coastlines. Maps of the state became my cherished companions, guiding my imagination to envision the unique qualities of each place based on contour lines, names, and elevations. The merging of my artistic upbringing with a profound love for the outdoors naturally evolved into an unwavering passion for landscape photography.
